How it works

  1. Eligibility Check
    Confirm utility account, existing water heater, qualifying equipment and current program status.
  2. Compliant Installation
    Installation, permits and documentation must meet applicable requirements.
  3. Complete Submission
    Required rebate documents are submitted accurately and on time.
  4. Protection
    If the written protection conditions are satisfied and the expected rebate is unavailable because program funding is exhausted, the participating offer covers the protected value as stated in its terms.
Important: SoCalGas determines its own program eligibility and rebate approval. HVAC Flow Rebate Protection is separate from SoCalGas and is not a SoCalGas guarantee. Protection applies only where expressly included in a written participating offer. Customer-caused ineligibility, inaccurate information, non-qualifying equipment, missed documentation, program-rule violations and other stated exclusions are not covered.
